Tara House
Set in the tranquil Tara golf course in Papillion, Nebraska, this spacious home boasts five bedrooms and breathtaking views.
Tara house is tucked away in the quiet Tara Hills neighborhood of Papillion. It overlooks the beautiful Tara Hills golf course. It is a beautiful, safe, walkable part of the city. Lots of sidewalks, shaded with mature trees.
currently we are doing a rent by the room model in the house, and are interested in travelers who are here for mid-stays (30 days or more). We have had a mix of travel nurses, cable fiber engineers, and work crews stay with us in 2023.
What’s To Love?
Spacious Design: the house is five bedrooms, four bathrooms. It is a massive home. With four living rooms (yes, you read that right), there is enough space to relax. While the house is shared, you can rest assured that you can carve out your own space easily if you need privacy.
Outdoor Views: With the house surrounded by the Tara Hills Golf course, the views are amazing, especially from the patios (there is an upper level and lower level patio in the back). Relax under the shade of the umbrella, while you watch the golfers walk up and down (occasionally you will find golf balls next to the house, cause not everyone out there is Tiger Woods for sure - we are that close to the golfers).
Large Kitchen: The kitchen is large enough that the fact that it’s shared is never a problem. We have two full sized fridges and ample cabinet space so everyone has space to put their stuff. Part of the hassle when you travel is the lack of healthy cooking options (I did the whole travel nursing thing for seven years, and living in hotel rooms is just not it). We provide enough utensils and general condiments, that whipping up a meal should be no problem.
Bi-weekly cleanings: My biggest beef when I was living in the shared houses during my travelling career, was how untidy some other fellow guests could be. so, when we got the opportunity to put our own stamp on the shared short term rental space, we took all the lessons we learnt (me and my partner), and came up with a rigorous cleaning protocol for every one of our places. Twice a month, we do a top to bottom cleaning of the houses. And in addition to that, if there is ever a problem before the next scheduled cleaning, you can always call us and we will get someone in there to take care of the issue. But, and this is important to stress, we all work on this together.
Security: Each bedroom has a lock on the door and you get your own separate key. There are security cameras on the front and back of the house. The Tara hills neighborhood is considered very safe, and you will regularly see people jogging even after dark.
